Q.  How long before I can become a Black Belt ?

A.  Each individual is different.  There is no set time-table.  It’s not how long it takes but how well you learn the material. Learning the material will advance you through the art at a reasonable pace. Remember a Black Belt is the beginning of the journey not the end.

 

Q.  How do I go about entering AAU tournaments ?

A.  Be sure to use the Link to the AAU Karate web site on the Contacts page. The AAU frequently supplies all forms required for AAU sponsored tournaments as well as the entry requirement and fees.

Q. What belt level do you have to be to enter tournaments ?

A.  Tournaments are set all for all competitors from white belts on up. There are a variety of different categories for competitors : age, weight , years in karate, belt, etc. All are welcome.
